On February 14th, 2012 a game by the name of Twisted Metal published by Sony and developed by Eat, Sleep, Play was released exclusively on the Sony Playstation 3. Since said release, the game has been plagued by online connection issues that directly affect the enjoyment of the game. Since this game was advertised as mostly an online experience, it has become a serious problem and isn’t anywhere near fixed as people continue to constantly deal with these issues despite multiple patches and updates and spending their hard earned $60 on the product. As a large selection of fans remain loyal to the game, they are quickly becoming bitter. In addition to this, the possibility of DLC (downloadable content, New Content) was denied by the publisher Sony, seemingly abandoning the people that spent their hard earned money and even more valuable time on the broken product without explanation. DLC usually costs more money and the community has shown that they want new content and would happily pay more money for said content. This petition is to get more content green lit by publisher Sony and developer Eat, Sleep, Play. It is sad that a petition has to be started to get companies to take more of our money to appease the loyal customers of a product.

I'm MisterMissus on the gamespot forums, and I have waited for this game a long time. A DLC consisting of various content both major and miscellanous from levels to characters would satisfy my hunger due to the bugs in game and the vast amount of disappointment from the Twisted Metal fan base by breaking away it's usual format via sticking to the multiplayer experience. It was great, but its getting repetitive as it is. It needs a breath of fresh air, so to speak.

Creating some additional story lines, maps and characters would not take much time/money since the game engine is already in place. After all, TM fans have waited over a decade since Twisted Metal: Black for another AAA console game, and the latest installment in the series certainly didn't disappoint. But there is such great potential for DLC in this games, it's practically begging for it! TM has a rich history, and practically endless options for DLC. This game is garbage, I sort of hope that David Jaffe would not make anymore games, really, This game was nothing but an exercise in frustration. After I platinum this, I do not plan on selling it to Gamestop, but rather splintering the disc in as many jagged pieces as I can and stuff it as far up my ass as humanly possible, making sure that it scrapes as much shit and blood out of my bleeding pooper as possible, before I eat raw shrimp scampi, and violently shitting it back in the case, putting that case inside a larger box, and sending it to the people who made this game, and not pay the extra money for overnight shipping so that by the time it arrives it will be absolutely rancid.

Twisted Metal needs DLC. Why? Just imagine it more cars or maps can make it more fun. Like the good days when in a map I always went looking for easter eggs in the maps. This game was a fizzle in my opinion. TM was brought better graphics and more in-depth storylines (in some cases), and deserves at least a sequel. What the hell happened in the development of this game? For being inactive, TM has been a necessity for modern consoles. Buying the game, I was ready for DLC. DLC didn't come. I felt like i had a corrupted disk and for some reason only gotten half the game. WHAT HAPPENED?!

Me and my older brother are diehard twisted metal fans. We were both stoked for the new one to come out on the PS3. When we finally got the game, beat it and played multiplayer, we were more disappointed than impressed. Not that the game was awful, it just did not live up to is earlier counterparts. I believe that a dlc would help the new twisted metal redeem at least it's multiplayer. I think the story mode is is unsaveable at this point.

Face it twisted metal is one of the best gaming experiences you'll ever have. Sure for its first time being online, there were problems, network errors, etc. But there is no reason to not help there mistake with some new DLC. It would help there image and just fix our game. I could write a novel about how much i want DLC and server issues to go away but ill finish with i am the biggest TM fan ever and damn near best axel player too lol Almost to 17,000! lol TWISTED FOR LIFE!

This game deserves to have more unlockables. If Eat Sleep Play was smart, then they would release multiple DLC packets of each Twisted Metal game, bringing in the older stages as well as the older cars, and maybe, just maybe, a new story mode character per DLC just to give the single players more to do as well as the multi players. I am very bitter, I spent my $60 on Twisted Metal, got it day one, and ever since then Ive been going online trying to get into a room. I can very VERY rarely get into a room, and Sony clearly doesnt care. I love Twisted Metal, both as a series and this specific title... But Sony screwed me. Now I just want to enjoy one of my favorite games... And I would happily pour money on them to get enjoyment out of this wonderful game. PLEASE fix this, give me content, I dont wqnt to see my favorite franchise die

I have been playing the twisted metal games since the first ones hit the market. and its is very sad for me to see this game that had so much potential be thrown away and never taalked about again. i loved this game. i would continue to love it if they had not abandoned it the way they did. its was the game that failed the fans. it was the the lack of proper content for it. eat sole play has turned their back on us.

To me it seems pretty straight-forward: Sony is a company and companies need to make money. Sony saw fit to spend whatever it did for the production and release of TM. Why not spend a bit more and keep the revenue coming? Surely, they could pay some poor, out of work, game designing boob to crank out a few maps or characters.
