i upgraded and purchased 2 new tmobile ‘mytouch 4g’ phones on monday february 7th, 2010 with a 2 year contract. on february 11th and 12th tmobile had a ‘free smartphone promotion’ that stated you could get any smatphone free with a 2 year agreement. when i contacted customer service about an adjustment to my account they denied me. when i stated that i could just come in and return my phones under the ‘buyers remorse’ clause that california has that states that you can return phones and cancel your contract within 30 days, they told me that no, that if i did that i would not be elligible for the free phones.
all of this is incomprehensible to me. either i should have been able to return the phones, cancel the contract and then re upgrade with the free phone. or. they should adjust my account accordingly.
