Since March, 2011, I have written certified letters, went to the Planet Fitness Gym in Rockledge, Florida more times than I can count, and called until my finger is bruised in attempt to cancel what supposed to have been a month-to-month contract. For eight (8) months, Planet Fitness has continuously refused and denied me the paperwork to sign off this contract and literally lied with threats over and again about the Manager, Steve Donald, not being there but that I could not stop contract until he was. In the meantime Planet Fitness continues to remove monthly funds from my bank account against my authorization. When I went there yesterday, 10/03/2011, and told them at this point if I did not speak to Mgr. Tim Donald or his father who is also the owner of this franchise, Bill Donald, that I would not only call the police but call the news stations and take them to small claims court. At this time, Tim Donald came out from hiding in his office and told me if I did not get off his property immediately he would call the police and charge me for trespassing. I said, "Please do, call the police, for you are refusing to allow me to stop my contract for the past 8 months, taking my money without my authorization, and now you are getting me for trespassing when I am still a member of your club due to your denial of my stopping the contract. Therefore, I am not trespassing." The police was called and Tim Donald continued to deny my signature to stop contract saying not I did not need it after all these months....the policewoman told Donald that he indeed had to stop the contract and no longer charge my account. My account was charged again on this day for $30.74 along with a No Tresspassing warrant against me for wanting to stop contract!
