OnSale allowed customers to order the HP TouchPad on their website and Amazon Store without telling them that they were out of stock. They waited over 36 hours to notify their customers that they would not be fulfilling majority of their orders. This entire time customers have had their form of payment pending and have been unable to free those funds.
It has now been almost 72 hours and many customers have still not received any notification from OnSale or Amazon about whether or not they will be fulfilled and still have pending charges for their orders. The only form of communication that the company has used to provide information is through Facebook. Many customers have tried to contact OnSale via phone or email, but many of their questions have been unanswered. Customers have been routinely hung up on or ignored intentionally.
