Bought a NetGear switch that came sealed in box without a power supply. Called NetGear customer support (they advertise 24/7 and the manual says to call if the item is defective). After spending almost an hour trying to talk to someone this weekend they pawned what was clearly their problem off on NewEgg. This is the ultimate on unempowered, uninspired customer service. Instead of mailing out a $3 power supply they will now spend much more than that, processing an exchange – stupid.
I will never buy a NetGear product again.
