Living Social unfair practices-Not honoring their deals-NY Rangers Tickets

I ordered 3 NY Rangers hockey vouchers to a game. They charge and refunded my order. Paid $600-Value over $1200. They said it was an technical error and gave me only $30 Living social bucks for compensation for their error but later raised it to $100. They still lost my trust and I never felt satisfied for their reasoning. The tickets/vouchers were sold out but they still gave vouchers to others who placed orders after me. Living Social did not honor their deal. Unfair practices to lure theirsite.

It's crazy isn't it?I tried the exact same thing last year when booking for 20+ pepole. I rang the restaurant to see if they would take the cash instead of going through KGB, but was told to buy the voucher. I think these deals are really great for consumers for two reasons;Firstly you get to try new restaurants and secondly you get to go out more!From a marketing perspective, the restaurant should offer the exact same experience' as the full priced meal. That's whole point of this type of marketing; to leave you with a good impression. I went to a certain restaurant in Leeds which decided to treat us like second class customers they just didn't get the whole point of this type of marketing. We didn't just come out thinking we wouldn't go again. We came out and felt pretty unhappy with the whole experience. A few negative reviews on some food websites and mentioning it to everyone in your social circle about how you were treated and I'd say I feel vented. On the other side we have found one or two little gems' of restaurants and the initial good deal has easily converted in to a loyal customer. ConclusionOnly quality establishments should use this marketing tool and staff should be educated to ensure that they understand the point of this exercise. It doesn't matter if it's the local greasy spoon offering a bacon butty for 99p, or a michelin star restaurant it's about the quality of the food and the experience.
