LAN Airlines does not refund for stolen baggage

Baggage disappeared on a flight from Miami to São Paulo and only appeared 8 days later. Many of my objects were stolen (I have credit card receipt) and bag came 2 kgs lighter.

LAN Airlines offers $300 for refund or NOTHING, which is much less than what was stolen. In other words, they are paying customers to shut up and go away. They make it difficult so customers get tired and give up.

DISRESPECTFUL to say the least!

Several hundred dollars of things where stolen from my bag, and LAN offers me 30 dollars or 60 dollars on credit for future flights. I find this criminal, where did you read that they give out $300 ?

Worst airlines ever!!! Canceled flights, horrible customer service, and lost both pieces of luggage. Luckily one was recovered and hopefully the other one will be too. Wouldn't be surprised if we find things are stolen.

LAN airline is by far THE WORST airline I’ve ever experienced. Their management and security are SO disrespectful and irresponsible! I will NEVER use this airline ever nor will I refer anyone. What a shame!

LAN Airways has not bothered to respond to my claim for damaged luggage after several attempts.

Most of their staff are well trained except one of their lady supervisors at Toronto airport who chose to get into a conflict with literally every second customer. Bless her

They just dont care. They ry to play off the {quality airlines bluff} by having nice uniforms and formalities} but when it comes to helping or responding to customer issues they just dont care. Seek other transportation if possible.

Have not heard from them about missing luggage. It is literally impossible to talk to human about lost luggage. Incredibly disappointed.

If baggage caegrhs are a necessary criteria for choosing an airline for your flight, then you will have exactly two options Southwest (who does not charge for the first two checked bags per passenger) and JetBlue (who does not charge for the first checked bag per passenger). Of these two airlines, you'll need to see whether they serve the airports you're looking to fly from in California both of these airlines have service between California and the Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI), but both of these airlines don't serve every airport in the state, either.
