After having a flight cancelled from Melbourne to Sydney, I was told by Jetstar that I would have my hotel accom and other expenses covered.
After waiting 8 months, I received a letter from Jetstar saying that I was unable to have my expenses covered and that the contract drawn between flight tickets and flight times was void. I was offered a happy meal voucher of $100, virtually a shut up.
Jetstar obviously don’t care for their customers. Their contracts are unlawful as they are biased toward the business and break several of the trade practices acts. Their customer service is poorly set out and does not enable customers to contact agents with any power within the corporate structure and their flights are a mess.
After 12 months of squabbling I am no closer to resolution.
