Customers do not have the right to verbaly, physicaly, or mentaly abuse another person for their own selfish needs. Being in retail for over 15 years I have seen all these things happen to innocent people all in the name of \”customer service\”. Policies are put into place for business institutions to create limits. When limits are set with a person or a business this creates boundries. No person or business likes their boundries breeched. When a breech happens then shelfis needs get in. It no longer becomes about what is right or wrong. It\’s now personal. Employees are human, patrons are human thus turning into human nature to attack. Customers will use what they have as a wepon. The employee will also use what they were given…POLICIES. So if you are a person who has had the policies \”broken\” for you to reach your own selfish needs , you have told the story to many others by now. Happy, laughing. Were you right or are you selfish?
