I have received two snail-mail flyers from CenturyLink soliciting my “return” to their service by offering $100 “Visa Prepaid Card” and $29.99 a month for 6 months of high speed internet with “no phone line required.” I’ve included the image below.
I have called twice both to the number listed on the solicitation AND to the number listed on the cited web page — and both times the representative would only agree to $50 Visa card even after consulting with a supervisor. I’ve read all the fine print — and there is no such limitation.
