I called AT&T to unlock my iPhone. I have been an AT&T customer for over 3 years, and my 2 year contract with my iPhone 3G had expired. I called to get my iPhone unlocked, and they refused to do it because of ‘policy reasons,’ even though my plan is paid up. They then started to tell me than even if they could, my iPhone would overheat if I got it unlocked, and then stop functioning.

I hate At&t,, I spend my money on the phone and my contract been up since 2009 and they will not unlock my phone after i invested into this IPHONE thats a whole in my pocket.. Times are hard I can be using this nice phone with Simple Moblie or T-mobile. And I went on a trip and had to but a cheap phone and sim card while I was there.. THANKS AMERICA for the Laws you make for companies to screw us over.. People like me that pays all my bills on time.Thats makes me so mad..

yes because the inpohe connects to internet constantly, but that is assuming that you dont have an internet plan. now if you do have a black berry internet plan i think you may need to call o2 and see because for hte inpohe at least on att you have to have the inpohe data plan and it might be the same for o2 so i would call them and see if your data plan will work on the inpohe. if you have data blocked on your plan then you wouldn't be able to get the full experience of the inpohe like visual voicemail and getting on the internet where ever you are but you shouldnt recieve a large bill but i would recommend you call o2 to see if your data plan, if you have one will work on the inpohe
