Two examples First I had voice messages needed for a pending legal matter to which I contacted AT&T directly to inquire the company proceedure for deleting these messges. The explaination I received was that these will remain on my phone only until I delete them personally and then would remain in the deleted folder in a retrievable state an additional 30 days before being permately deleted by AT&T. However, these were unbeknownst to me deleted by AT&T. Once realized, I contacted immediately only to be informed that I was misinformed and that the voice messages necessary for the legal matter were lost forever due to no fault of AT&T claiming that the supervisor had no way to determine who and why I was provided untrue information. This I do not belive as I am confident the have records of which employees work and which day and time. That their commmuncarion system is capable of tracking activity from my phone to theirs as well the voice recordings used during each call made to the company. This unfortunately with held from the general population, used only and available only to AT&T as needed to benefit AT&T rather than any
determination towards accuracy and ligitmacy of a customers claim. AT&T claims of sorrow and sympathy proved to b only superficial. Theirs Words may indicate a presumption while the message demonstrated through their actions very clear. To bad and screw you we are not going to help nor do we care.
The second issue relates to what the industry terms “Authorised Dealer”. It’s aS my understanding until AT&T so callously and disrespectfully expressed otherwise as relateds to customer service that this was a resource used by AT&T as an extension of the company to sell and service their product and services. The ended result of my purchase of what was represented as AT&T product by a AT&T representative was AT&T denied any association with “their Authorised Dealers” and would engage in no reasonable discussion of these resources and their business practices. In the end demonstrating acknowledgement by AT&T is that they as a company are willing to accept all financial gains and profits generated by these resources while maintaining their ability to remove themselves of and any and all responsibilities, any and all
accountablility and any and all obligations relating to the the sale and profit of the AT&T name product and service. We (AT&T) value you as a customer as we take your money and not us them (Authorised Dealer) when it relates to services rendred.
